The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided the Ukrainian Gas TSO (GTSOU) with a mobile data center. This was reported by the press service of GTSOU.
According to the GTSOU, this data center supports the dispatching activities of the GTSOU, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to Ukrainians. Installed on a chassis, it can be easily moved to any other location in case of an emergency.
The IT hardware and software also provide some critical functions, including online and offline hydraulic modeling tools for various alternative scenarios. These tools are aimed at optimizing network operations, managing gas consumption, detecting leaks, and improving data transparency, reliability, efficiency, security, and resilience to potential threats. This assistance allows GTSOU to take proactive measures to reduce risks and respond quickly to changing needs and emergencies in the gas transmission infrastructure.
